Trips & Events
During the year we take lots of trips and host various events. From pilgrimages around the world, skiing in West Virginia to confirmation class we have a lot of ways for students to be involved here at St. Peter's!
Ski Trip
Each year we head to the slopes in Winterplace, WV over President's Day weekend in February. No experience is necessary, you can be ready for a black diamond or just getting on the bunny slopes. All gear can be rented at the lodge. Space is limited this year, so register early! Confidential scholarships are available.
Registration will open for the Ski Trip in Fall 2024.

Summer Mission Trip
During the summer we travel on a mission trip to spend a week together serving communities, usually staying with a local church and ending the week with a fun activity like a theme park. Location and dates are announced early spring.
Pilgrimage
Every other year, two confirmation classes (current and previous year's) combine for a spiritual pilgrimage abroad. The group fundraises for two years through poinsettia sales, a dinner series, and more. In previous years, we have gone to Ireland, Scotland, Greece, Spain, and Italy. Students who wish to participate in this journey must be baptized and confirmed, and make a commitment to this spiritual journey.
If your student is interested in participating in Pilgrimage, please contact Jacob; jdavis@stpetersparish.org for more information.

Confirmation
Each Spring the current 8th graders and any student in
9-12th grade gathers together weekly to explore our faith, ask questions, and build friendships as we consider what it means to express a commitment to Jesus in community together. The deadline to register for the 2023 confirmation class in January 15th, 2023.

OWL (Our Whole Lives)
OWL is a curriculum that grounds itself in supporting and nurturing the sexual health of students. This program model teaches care, compassion, respect, and justice through a holistic approach that moves toward addressing attitudes, values, and feelings students have about themselves.
All students 6th-12th grade are welcome. This program runs every other year and we meet for five weeks starting in the fall. Each evening begins with a shared meal before breaking into groups. Registration is required to participate and will open at the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.

Diocesan Events
The Diocese of Florida offers multiple opportunities for students throughout the year at Camp Weed such as Happening, New Beginnings, and Summer Camps. Our youth are both leaders and participants in these weekend and summer events. For more information visit Campweed.org or the diocesan website.
