Youth - Go.

Our hope is that the journey doesn't end when students graduate from youth ministry. We encourage young people to carry their faith with them wherever they go—to college, into new communities, and into the next chapters of their lives. Through scholarships, senior celebrations, and other opportunities, we support and encourage our young people as they take their next steps.

Each year, graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college or technical school are invited to apply for the Bishop Henry Beard Delany Scholarship, a one-time award of $1,000 to support their next steps in education.

As part of the application, students are asked to write a 500–750 word essay exploring Bishop Henry Beard Delany’s life and accomplishments, the obstacles he overcame, and how his example remains relevant to young people today. Applicants should consider the challenges facing today’s youth and how faith, education, and service can help address them.

College Campus Ministry

Take your faith with you.

Graduation is not the end of your faith journey—it’s the beginning of a new chapter. As our students head to college, we want them to know that they don’t have to leave their faith community behind. College campus ministries provide opportunities to connect with other students, grow in faith, worship, serve, and find a community away from home.

Throughout Florida, the Diocese supports college centers and campus ministries at Florida State University, the University of Florida, the University of North Florida, and Florida A&M University. These ministries create welcoming spaces where college students can build friendships, ask questions, deepen their faith, and discover ways to live out their faith on campus and in their communities.

Whether you're heading off to college, already on campus, or looking for ways to support college ministry, there are opportunities to get connected and stay involved.

Explore the ministries below to learn more about campus life, upcoming gatherings, and ways to connect or support these communities.
