Youth Mission
Statement
At St. Peter’s Episcopal Youth Community (or EYC*), we nuture young people to believe in the love and grace of Jesus Christ, belonging in a welcoming community of faith, to lead by seeking and serving Christ in all people, and go into the world as faithful disciples to share the good news with courage, compassion, and hope.

What is EYC?
St. Peter’s EYC is a welcoming community for students in grades 6–12, where we grow together in faith, build meaningful friendships, serve others with compassion, and live out Christ’s love through fellowship, worship, and service.
Weekly Gatherings
Sunday Night Youth Group
6-12 grade students meet for fellowship, dinner, games, and discussion each week in the Youth Center from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
High School Breakfast
Wednesdays 7:45-8:30 a.m., in the Youth Center
Believe. - Faith & Formation
Faith is a journey of asking questions, seeking understanding, and growing closer to God. Through Confirmation, retreats, pilgrimage, acolyting, worship, and opportunities to explore Scripture and the Episcopal tradition, our youth are invited to discover what they believe, deepen their relationship with Christ, and grow in faith alongside others. Explore the many ways to ask questions, go deeper, and discover what faith means in your life.
Belong - Community
Faith is meant to be lived in community. Our youth ministry creates spaces where students can build friendships, have fun, ask questions, and know they have a place where they are welcomed and valued. Through weekly gatherings, fellowship, trips, and special events, we grow together as a community of faith.
Go. - Next Steps.
Our hope is that the journey doesn't end when students graduate from youth ministry. We encourage young people to carry their faith with them wherever they go—to college, into new communities, and into the next chapters of their lives. Through scholarships, senior celebrations, and other opportunities, we support and encourage our young people as they take their next steps.
