We all agree that communication and transparency are essential, especially during this season of change. In addition to periodic email communication from our Senior Warden, we will use this space to provide updates on topics such as Search Committee milestones and progress, the latest with the parish engagement and listening sessions, and other topical updates.

 

Our last Vestry meeting on Monday, August 12, was a busy one. In addition to approving the interim Rector, we also selected the Search Committee chair and made progress on planning the parish engagement and listening sessions. Stay tuned for additional updates.

 

Search Committee Update:

An important step in the search process for calling a new Rector is selecting the Search Committee chair. During the weeks leading up to our August 12 Vestry meeting, we worked through a thoughtful nomination and selection process that led to the appointment of the chair during the meeting. We are pleased to announce that Kim Page will assume the role of committee chair. Please join us in praying for Kim as she undertakes this important responsibility. The immediate next step is to complete key planning steps and select Search Committee members.
